7/24/10 More Atlanta

Workout
Took my sister to check out CrossFit at Fitness Battalion in Atlanta.  She did pretty well, but got a bit lightheaded - needed more food.  She is gonna sign up.  CrossFit FTW!

WOD - they called it CrossFit benchmark
500m row
40 squats
30 situps
20 pushups
10 pullups
7:00

Diet
11a - 2 eggs scrambled with olive oil, banana, few cherries, black coffee
3p - handful of almonds
rest of the day:
1 beer, half of brisket reuben, sweet potato fries
2 mikes hard lemonade, 1 beer, 2 margaritas
1 spinach taco, chips and salsa

You got your sister to sign up for crossfit??? That is huge! Congrats! We have a family vacation coming up and my brother and I are going to hold boot camp. Hope at least 1 member of my family will join. !

Yep. She is doing a 3-hour "Foundation" thing on Saturday the 31st and will start regular classes the next week. I hope she makes it because she was complaining all weekend about how sore she was from the WOD we did (above). I told her that was a pretty light one. I printed a CrossFit journal article on DOMS for her and bought her some fish oil.
